The Memory Care Unit of Rolling Meadows is a 22,142 square-foot self-contained, long term memory care unit. The new building connects to the existing Rolling Meadows nursing care wing. The unit houses 22 individual comfortable living/bedrooms with separate ADA compliant bathrooms. Facilities include a therapy room, an activity room, lounge/TV area, dining area, and food prep area. Although it’s a commercial building with light gauge steel trusses and steel stud walls, the exterior of the project was designed to complement and enhance the existing residential campus façade with brick veneer with stone trim, 30-year shingle roof system, shading canopies and main entrance drive-thru portico.
