Located in Olney, Texas, the three-story, 6,600 square-foot new facility, encloses Air Tractor’s electrocoat system. This is the first ever electrocoat primer system for full-scale original-equipment aircraft parts manufacturing. It includes an automated parts rack hoist, ten 5,000-gallon immersion tanks, cure ovens, and a reverse osmosis water treatment system. Our construction of the new e-coat facility enabled Air Tractor to introduce “electrocoated” aluminum parts into Air Tractor airplane assembly lines in July 2017. All Air Tractor airplanes will have e-coated aluminum parts starting with 2018 deliveries.
